Claudine Chionh: Family history

The name Chionh, apparently derived from the Chinese Jiang (蒋), is extremely unusual. I have not yet discovered the origins of this spelling, and I am aware that there are people with this name, outside of my immediate family, living in Singapore and Australia (and perhaps elsewhere). If you know anything about the Chionh name I would like to hear from you.
